网红爆料鈥檚 Anderson Library will host a used book sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 9.
The public is invited to attend the sale which will feature a variety of genres and authors. Other libraries have even donated items for the event.
Director of Instructional Support Services Chad Groves said he and Library Assistant Kaitlyn Weger have been looking for ways to strengthen ties with the community and invite area residents to visit the facility. The idea for the sale emerged from those conversations.
鈥淜aitlyn and I both always look forward to public library book sales and we thought, 鈥榃hy can鈥檛 we do something like that here?鈥欌 Groves said. 鈥淭he response has been great. We鈥檝e already received 12 to 13 boxes of books with more promised.鈥
Donations are being accepted until Friday, April 8. Books can be dropped off between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Library front desk.
