If you have students with incompletes and need to extend their course access in Canvas, follow these steps:

1. Log on to Canvas.
2. Access the course to extend access time.
3. Click on “Settings” in the course navigation.
4. On the “Course Details” page, locate the Participation section.
5. Find the “End” date and change it to the desired date.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Update Course Details” button.

NOTE: This only extends access to the course. If quizzes or other assignments have timed or date restrictions, adjust those for students as well.
