Educational Outcomes

Upon entry into practice, the graduate of the IECC Associate Degree in Nursing Program will be able to:

  1. Use clinical judgment to provide holistic client care across the lifespan.

  2. Provide safe and effective patient centered care through promoting a culture of caring andÌýadvocacy that demonstrates inclusion for individual patient preferences, values, needs and theÌýdiversity of human experience.Ìý

  3. Collaborate with and delegate to other health care providers, based on scope of practice, toÌýdeliver evidence-based patient care.

  4. Utilize informatics by demonstrating effective use of technology to mitigate error and supportÌýclinical decision making in the delivery of quality and safe patient care. 

  5. Apply professional and ethical behaviors consistent with the standards of practice andÌýregulatory frameworks of the registered professional nurse into all aspects of decision making andÌýquality improvement.
